The Montagu Hotel’s Colonial “Art Deco” style is based on the 1920’s Paris design. This unique style is themed throughout the hotel, making the old world charm very evident. Classic rooms are rated 3 star and luxury rooms are rated 4 star. All rooms are initially decorated in either Art Deco (classic) or Victorian (luxury) style. The Hotel offers traditional cuisine, complimented by local wines, while Golden Oldies played on a Baby Grand takes you back in time. The Dog and Trumpet pub and wooden deck is the ideal spot for a sundowner.
Guests can experience the healing water of our mineral pool. The Wellness Center specializes in health treatments, and boasts a steam room and mineral bath. Explore the wine route in chauffeur driven Cadillac. Modern conference facilities for up to 60 delegates. The Montagu Country Hotel also offers day trips to explore the surrounding area.
Cancellation Policy: SPASforafrica adheres to the individual cancellation policies of our spas.
Spa Cancellation Policy:
In the case of a cancellation within one week before arrival, a cancellation fee of one night’s accommodation will be charged, unless we are able to sell the room again.
In the unlikely event of a group reservation being cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival date, the hotel will levy a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the cancelled accommodation should our efforts to resell the accommodation in question not be successful.
A 10% administration & cancellation fee will be kept for any deposit refunded.

Directions to the Montagu Country Hotel : Cape Town to Montagu (N1)
-Take the N1 from Cape Town through Du Toits Kloof to Worcester.
-Turn off at the second robot to your right where Worcester is sign posted.
-Drive straight on with this street where you will cross a bridge where you will see a fire station on your right hand side.
-At the second robot after the bridge you turn left for a couple of hundred metres where you will see the R60 sign posted at the traffic light.
-You turn right here.
-You pass through Robertson and Ashton before reaching the village of Montagu.
-In Montagu you will take the fourth turn-off to your left which is Kohler Street and where the hotel is clearly sign posted.
-One street block, and you will find the hotel on your right hand side.
Oudtshoorn to Montagu
-Use the R62 from Oudtshoorn through Calitzdorp, Ladismith and Barrydale to reach Montagu.
-Enter the town in Long Street.
-Take the fourth turn off to your right which is Kohler Street and where the hotel is clearly sign posted
-One street block, and you will find the hotel on your right hand side.
